CUCKLINGTON and KILBRICKEN STORM provides us with two winners last week.

Last week was extremly busy with multiple runners almost everyday.

Six runners at Plumpton on the Monday saw Flos'boy Sam make his debut for us finishing 4th, Queen of the Wind finished 5th, Kalaraika 7th with Cucklington winning the Handicap Chase by 3 lengths for Christine & Donald Hinks who have been supporters of the yard since we started.Minella Web finished 3rd after missing the whole of last season due to injury and Quiz Master finished 4th.

On Tuesday we had runners at Exeter, Golden Sunrise finished a brilliant 3rd at 66/1 for Brocade Racing, Battle of Ideas owned by the Coral Champions Club also finished a good 3rd.Elegant Escape finished 2nd in the Novices' Chase being beaten by Ballyoptic.Wizards Bridge finished a very good 4th under Mitch Bastiyan.

Wednesday we were at Chepstow with 6 more runners Shillingsworth finished in mid division, unfortunately Muffins For Tea fell, Mister Malarky finished 5th for Wendy & Malcolm Hezel, Waterloo Warrior finished a very good 2nd as did Flaming Charmer with Allchilledout 7th.

On Thursday we had four runners at Newbury with a gorgeous young horse Lostintranslation who finished 2nd we had really hoped he would win but he ran into a Nicky Henderson hotshot they pulled miles clear of the remainder of the field.Exxaro frustratingly pulled up, Drinks Interval could only finish 5th and Morello Royale ran with great credit finishing a very good 2nd on a track she clearly loves for Ann & Tony Gale.

Friday was slightly less hectic but in different directions with Padleyourowncanoe making his debut for us in the juvenille hurdle at Warwick where he finished 4th.Ivor's Queen also finished 4th at Fontwell.

We paraded and cantered Thistlecrack,Cue Card and Fox Norton before racing at Wincanton on Saturday which went very well indeed.Kilbricken Storm won by 26 lengths in the opener for Ashton Selway & Paul Wavish, On Demand could only finish 5th in the Mares race she won last year,sadly Valhalla fell in the rising stars novices chase, Theatre Guide finished a gallant 3rd in the Badger Ales Chase under top weight where Tempestatefloresco pulled up, he will now go on his annual winter break before another spring/summer campaign.The Russian Doyen finished 3rd in the closing bumper for The Gosden Mob.

One runner at Sandown yesterday (Sunday) Third Intention who despite being hampered finished a very good 2nd he should have won really!

Monday again - but we are home today & tomorrow before a busy and exciting end to the week - the season is going so quickly....
